“Strong feelings do not necessarily make a strong character.“Prayer may just be the most powerful tool mankind has.” – Ted Dekker.“What you do today can improve all your tomorrows.” – Ralph Marston. It will survive long after your gold and good health have vanished.” – Og Mandino “Treasure the love you receive above all.Even when pain is part of reaching your goal, and it usually is, you can accept that, too. "You love doing what you have to do.going to the gym, working hard on the set. With that kind of joy, discipline isn't difficult or negative or grim." There's a kind of joy in that kind of ambition in having a vision in front of you. Then I get this easy feeling, and I don't have to be uptight to get there because I already feel like I'm there.that it's just a matter of time." "I set a goal, visualised it very clearly, then created the drive, the hunger for turning it into a reality. I can see it so clearly in front of me, when I daydream, it's almost a reality. "I can zero in on a vision of where I want to be in the future. Everyone would be a black belt, everyone would be healthy, everyone would have a six-pack (not the aluminium kind), everyone would be wealthy, everyone would be happy and everybody would have his or her dream job. Why do I say that? Because if it were easy, everyone would be doing it. And when it’s hard, difficult or a challenge that’s usually a sign that you’re on the right path. So why not start now in this moment? If you start now you can systematically take all the steps that you need to make your goals happen. But here’s the thing: it may never be the perfect time to start. Most of us (myself included) wait for everything to be perfect before we start. If it’s motivation that you need, pick up a book that someone has written on what you want to do. If it’s resources that you don’t have, save your money and get them (or get a coach to help you).

If you don’t have the time, work later, start earlier or work weekends to make it happen. If you don’t have the money to do what you want to do, earn it or do what you can without the money. The remedy? Start now and start with what you have got. Unfortunately, the back burner for most of us gets further and further behind and we never “get around to it”. Having a lot of time can afford us the luxury of putting things on the back burner until other things are done. While it is possible to achieve things quickly, most things in life that we really strive for take a lot of time and patience. A person must not avoid things because they are too hard, difficult or time consuming if he or she wishes to develop and grow. However, in most cases, avoiding challenge and discomfort can be to our detriment. Drugs, bad company, unhealthy food, negative media and unsafe environments etc are all examples of this. Sometimes we are justified in avoiding discomfort if our instinct tells us that it might lead to danger or negative consequences. It is in built in us to avoid challenge and discomfort. “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge…”
